So Far, So Good

Last night's appointment went very well.

Louise's blood pressure is good and normal.  Her weight is exceptionally good.  And Nio is perfect.

His heartrate was around 140bpm, which is perfect.  His size is perfect.  His movements are perfect.  We got to see him kick, which would've probably been really strange to see and feel. He's currently (or, last night was) in a breech position with his head on the right and his feet on the left.

And he's super cute.  Have I mentioned that before?

The glucose tolerance test is in about 3 weeks...which I'm dreading for her.  She did the small one and felt horrible afterwards.  This is the full one...hopefully, it's not too bad for her.

I got to feel a few really strong kicks last night while giving Louise her injection.  It amazes me every single time.  I've been talking to him as well...I'm not sure if he can hear me yet, but I'm definitely talking to him.  I'll start playing music for him soon.

I was joking a while back about how cool it would be if he were to be born on 9 October...'cause that's John Lennon's birthday.  But, then it hit me yesterday that it would be doubly cool if he's born on the 9th...since his nickname is Nio and all.  It's definitely a possibility.  :)
